Services
What exactly do you do in work preparation?
We create a 3D model of your project in cadwork. From it, we produce:
- Working and assembly drawings
- Element drawings and workshop drawings
- Material and parts lists
- Quantity and volume calculations
- Machine data for beam processing
Which companies do you work for?
For carpentry and timber construction companies worldwide – for example when peak periods need to be covered, a work preparation specialist is missing, or CAD expertise is needed.
Do you also do the structural analysis?
No. The structural analysis is carried out by your structural engineer. We transfer the specifications from the structural analysis into the 3D model and implement them in the planning.
Which machines do you supply data for?
We supply machine data exclusively for beam processing, i.e. for joinery machines that process beams and members. This covers all machines for which cadwork offers an interface – for example from Hundegger, Krüsi, Weinmann, Schmidler, Technowood, Biesse/Uniteam, SCM, CMS and Essetre. We do not create machine data for wall and floor production lines. Just tell us your machine and we will clarify the right data format.
Working together
How does the collaboration work?
- You send us your documents.
- At the start of the project, we use our checklist to clarify all open points.
- You receive the 3D model for review and approval.
- After your approval, we deliver drawings, lists and machine data.
Which documents do you need from us?
- Architectural plans or working drawings
- The structural analysis
- Your wall, floor and roof build-ups
- For existing buildings: a survey or existing drawings
- Information about your production, for example your machine and the required data format
Our checklist at the start of the project helps make sure nothing is forgotten.
Do we need cadwork ourselves?
No. You receive the 3D model as an HTML file that you can view in any browser without additional software. Drawings are provided, for example, as PDF.
In which formats do we receive the data?
- CAD files: dwg, ifc, sat, 3d, dxf, html
- 2D drawings: pdf, dwg, dxf
Do you only work in Northern Germany?
No. We work fully digitally and for clients worldwide. Coordination takes place by phone, video call and email – no travel required.
What happens if the plans change?
Changes are incorporated into the 3D model. Because drawings, lists and machine data come from the same model, all documents are then up to date. Major changes after approval are agreed with you in advance.
Costs and schedule
How much does work preparation cost?
That depends on the size and scope of your project. Send us your documents – after reviewing them, you will receive a quote.
How quickly can you start?
That depends on our current workload. Just ask – you will receive a reply with a possible start date.
How do you handle our data?
We treat your documents confidentially. We use them exclusively for your project and do not pass them on to third parties.
